Ready to ditch store bought Ranch dressing and make a much tastier, less expensive, healthier version? Here's all you'll ever need to experience Ranch dressing happiness.
Mix together dry ingredients and store in an air tight container.
When you're ready to make some amazing dressing, simply mix 2 Tablespoons of the Ranch mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 - 3/4 cup (depending on your thickness preference) buttermilk*, sour cream, or yogurt in a measuring glass. Mix well and pour into a salad dressing container. Store in the refrigerator and use any time you want amazing Ranch dressing.
*Want to use buttermilk, but don't have any? Place 2 t. white vinegar in a measuring glass plus enough milk (any kind, so you can do nondairy if you'd like) to make 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Stir and use in place of buttermilk.
Bonus! Make a wonderful dip by mixing 1 Tablespoon dry mix per 1 cup sour cream. Mix a few hours before serving to let the flavors marry. You could also do half sour cream and half yogurt for a healthier version.
Dry mix makes about 3 - 12 ounce batches of dressing.
