This is an easy, delicious, and unflappable breakfast loved by any and all who get to eat it.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Melt butter in 9" pie plate in oven.

Whilst the butter is melting, using a wire whisk or fork to beat eggs slightly in a medium bowl or 4 cup measuring glass*.  Add flour, milk, and salt and beat/whisk just until mixed (do not overbeat).

Remove pie plate with melted butter from oven.  Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over melted butter.  Lovingly place apple slices on top of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.  Pour egg batter over apple slices.

Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until puffy and deep golden brown.  Right away, loosen edge of flapjack and turn upside down onto heatproof serving plate.

Makes about 4 servings, which will be gone instantly.
